Founder & CEO

Jared is the Founder and CEO of J Smith & Company. He started the company in 2022 after years in public and private accounting with a goal of helping individuals and businesses achieve their goals and educate clients about taxes and accounting. Jared has over seven years of accounting experience and focuses on helping clients plan for and implement effective tax strategies.

Chief Operations Officer

Ashlynn is our COO and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm. She brings a unique skillset to our team that ensures we are staying efficient and serving our clients well. Ashlynn helps develop different strategies within the firm that continue to produce consistent growth for the company. She also brings energy to our team to keep things fun and enjoyable.

Administrative Assistant

Miranda is our amazing administrative assistant who keeps everything inline and running smoothly. She ensures all clients and team members get the information they need as well as assisting with internal administrative projects.

Accountant

Sydney brings a unique skillset of accounting experience to J Smith & Company and assists with monthly bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks clean-ups for clients. Sydney handles the majority of our bookkeeping clients and also helps out with basic tax returns.

Social Media Manager & Administrative Assistant

Bria joined J Smith & Company in early 2024 and manages all things social media at the firm. Bria also assists with various administrative tasks and helps with developing sales and marketing strategies that align with J Smith & Company's unique analysis approach. 

Administrative Intern

Jaylynn (Jaya), is our beloved intern who helps take on various administrative tasks and keep things running smoothly within the firm. She assists on really any project necessary. Currently, she is in school pursuing a degree in public relations.
